The questions extra

 Two little fanarts about LBH and SQQ's answers during the questions extra <3 <3 Still using the donghua design. 

Must mention that during this time (2020) there wasn't an official translation, so these quotes are from the fan translation, and the words are probably a bit different. 

Cute 2020 Bingqiu fanarts

 These are some cutsey Bingqiu fanarts I made during 2020, they don't have a lot of context. One of them was made when the SQQ nendroid was announced. As you can see, during this time I used the donghua design more... but even then, I couldn't choose one LBH design to stick to (this is still a problem today!! hahahaha)

"Return to childhood" extra

 These fanarts were made during 2020, about that return to childhood extra where LBH qi-deviates and age regresses. If I made this now, I would give him long hair. But I still like them.

First danmei fanarts

 I read SVSSS in 2019, and watched The untamed and read MDZS in 2020. These fanarts were made in 2020 and were my first danmei fanarts.

Actually, the two chibi sketches were requested by some fb friends back then. I don't really ship xicheng anymore, but I still think it's cute. 

The chibi Binghe is, to this day, one of my favorites Binghe I've ever drawn, I kind of struggle with his design and that one was very cuuute, now I want to draw the donghua design again!

More 7LWY art!

 I actually found more "Seven lives with you" art, including two that I'm very proud of, so I wanted to share it too. These were made around 2018 :) 

The ones that have colors were titled "Winter" and "Summer", and I spent a lot of time on those, I was super proud of the rendering and I still think it's quite good! 

The two sketches were made following some kind of month list, the prompts were "Lauhing" and "kiss".

I kind of miss making OC art, but this story isn't only mine. I should design some more original characters that are actually only mine. 

Art for Pochi

 A few years ago I helped at Pochi fansub (If any of you see this, Hi! Say hi to Momo!). I stopped because I didn't have time anymore at my last year of uni, I also was later diagnosed with a chronic illness which explains why I didn't have much energy at the time. In any case, I made some art for them to use, the character design was done by one of the girls there who is incredibly talented. It was very fun, nice times. 

I made more art than this, but I can't seem to find it, maybe I erased it from my computer. In any case, the demon one and the one with the flower bouquet are my favorite, so I'm happy to share them. 

The smily last one was part of a sticker set! But I don't think the others are as cute as that one, so I didn't include them. 

Seven lives with you

 This was a novel a friend and I were planning, co-writing and drawing about during high-school around 2017. The title was suggested by another friend. I don't talk to either of them anymore, but I hope they don't mind me sharing this, as otherwise, it would just be forgotten. I will dump all the art here and then explain the story below.

The main characters are Luke and Mathew. Luke has dark hair and green eyes, and Mathew has light brown hair and blue eyes. There's also a cat. 

Text reads: "The only thing I hate about my new life is to watch you cry and to be unable to do anything other than lay beside you and wait"

I remember more drawings, but these are the best. 

The story is slightly convoluted, BL romance, drama and fantasy, here it goes:

Luke and Mathew were classmates in high-school, where Luke fell madly in love with Mathew. He never confessed, and they parted ways. Luke became a relatively famous painter, always painting Mathew and little else. When they were both around twenty-five... Luke died. He died alone, but instead of disappearing, a Goddess of Creativity appeared before him. 

The Goddess explained that Mathew was supposed to become a renowned writer, but hadn't written anything for years and seemed depressed. Worried that he might also die young without fulfilling his destiny, she wanted Luke to help. She couldn't bring him back as a human, but she could help his soul to a kitten's body.

So, that's the premise of the story. Luke reincarnates as a cat that soon gets adopted my Mathew, with the idea of cheering up the other man, help him become happy again and therefore find inspiration to fulfill his creative destiny.

That was the outline of the story. Once Mathew started writing again, the Goddess was supposed to fulfill one of Luke's wishes, which was to become human again. When he did, he did so in a new, healthy body. He originally had a tattoo that was related to Mathew, and his new body didn't have it. 
That was it, I got to write a couple of pages and countless conversations about this, but at the end, it ended unfinished, and I don't think I will ever continue with this.

 A tribute to my starting point

These are some drawings made between the years 2016 and 2020. These drawings were all made using the program Medibang Paint and a digital tablet. I was seventeen when I started, so I've always felt that I was already late, but I persevered. I am very well aware of the anatomical issues, too-bright colors and weird perspectives, but I still wanted to honor my first attempts at digital art. 

These weren't really named OCs. I remember designing them with my cousin, who wanted the taller one to be a metalhead. The other one is a vet student, though nothing in his outfit reveals this. I like their clothes and their stance, it looks quite natural, in comparison with some other pieces at this time. For the other one, I just wanted to draw a merman and human romantic situation. I like the merman's colors, and I think now I could do something quite nice with that galaxy tail idea.

This is a cute one. It was my friend group from this time, I'm sure each one of them can still recognize themselves in this drawing, the three pets in the drawing had recently passed away. The cat's name was Mr. cat, the chihuahua was called Cleo, and the beagle's name was Lord Puppy. The "14th squad" name was a reference to Bleach! 

I like his hair! And I can see I already enjoyed drawing these kinds of things... 

This one was my attempt to draw a classmate from uni. She was so pretty, she said she liked it.

These characters were an online friend's OCs, I drew them these three times, I'm very proud that you can truly see the improvement each time.

I drew some fanart during this time. I was very into YOI but I felt like my skills weren't enought to draw Viktor, so I only attempted twice. I like my second and final KS fanart quite a lot, Sangwoo's indifferent expression and... I didn't know the ending yet, but I turned up to be right! haha The colored chibi is from Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki, a cool yaoi manga, and the black and white heads are from Konya mo nemurenai.

  

 

I enjoyed drawing other people's OCs at this time. The boy with green eye's name is Somnia, and the one with the orange background is Vitrum, by my friend Andrew (I mean, we haven't talked in years but we used to be friends!) I don't quite remember the others. 

I really liked this one, I was trying really hard to achieve the ikemen aesthetic and this was probably the closest I got. Another unnamed OC. I still like his eyes.
