Seven lives with you

 This was a novel a friend and I were planning, co-writing and drawing about during high-school around 2017. The title was suggested by another friend. I don't talk to either of them anymore, but I hope they don't mind me sharing this, as otherwise, it would just be forgotten. I will dump all the art here and then explain the story below.

The main characters are Luke and Mathew. Luke has dark hair and green eyes, and Mathew has light brown hair and blue eyes. There's also a cat. 

Text reads: "The only thing I hate about my new life is to watch you cry and to be unable to do anything other than lay beside you and wait"

I remember more drawings, but these are the best. 

The story is slightly convoluted, BL romance, drama and fantasy, here it goes:

Luke and Mathew were classmates in high-school, where Luke fell madly in love with Mathew. He never confessed, and they parted ways. Luke became a relatively famous painter, always painting Mathew and little else. When they were both around twenty-five... Luke died. He died alone, but instead of disappearing, a Goddess of Creativity appeared before him. 

The Goddess explained that Mathew was supposed to become a renowned writer, but hadn't written anything for years and seemed depressed. Worried that he might also die young without fulfilling his destiny, she wanted Luke to help. She couldn't bring him back as a human, but she could help his soul to a kitten's body.

So, that's the premise of the story. Luke reincarnates as a cat that soon gets adopted my Mathew, with the idea of cheering up the other man, help him become happy again and therefore find inspiration to fulfill his creative destiny.

That was the outline of the story. Once Mathew started writing again, the Goddess was supposed to fulfill one of Luke's wishes, which was to become human again. When he did, he did so in a new, healthy body. He originally had a tattoo that was related to Mathew, and his new body didn't have it. 
That was it, I got to write a couple of pages and countless conversations about this, but at the end, it ended unfinished, and I don't think I will ever continue with this.
