 A tribute to my starting point

These are some drawings made between the years 2016 and 2020. These drawings were all made using the program Medibang Paint and a digital tablet. I was seventeen when I started, so I've always felt that I was already late, but I persevered. I am very well aware of the anatomical issues, too-bright colors and weird perspectives, but I still wanted to honor my first attempts at digital art. 

These weren't really named OCs. I remember designing them with my cousin, who wanted the taller one to be a metalhead. The other one is a vet student, though nothing in his outfit reveals this. I like their clothes and their stance, it looks quite natural, in comparison with some other pieces at this time. For the other one, I just wanted to draw a merman and human romantic situation. I like the merman's colors, and I think now I could do something quite nice with that galaxy tail idea.

This is a cute one. It was my friend group from this time, I'm sure each one of them can still recognize themselves in this drawing, the three pets in the drawing had recently passed away. The cat's name was Mr. cat, the chihuahua was called Cleo, and the beagle's name was Lord Puppy. The "14th squad" name was a reference to Bleach! 

I like his hair! And I can see I already enjoyed drawing these kinds of things... 

This one was my attempt to draw a classmate from uni. She was so pretty, she said she liked it.

These characters were an online friend's OCs, I drew them these three times, I'm very proud that you can truly see the improvement each time.

I drew some fanart during this time. I was very into YOI but I felt like my skills weren't enought to draw Viktor, so I only attempted twice. I like my second and final KS fanart quite a lot, Sangwoo's indifferent expression and... I didn't know the ending yet, but I turned up to be right! haha The colored chibi is from Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki, a cool yaoi manga, and the black and white heads are from Konya mo nemurenai.

  

 

I enjoyed drawing other people's OCs at this time. The boy with green eye's name is Somnia, and the one with the orange background is Vitrum, by my friend Andrew (I mean, we haven't talked in years but we used to be friends!) I don't quite remember the others. 

I really liked this one, I was trying really hard to achieve the ikemen aesthetic and this was probably the closest I got. Another unnamed OC. I still like his eyes.
